2025 WE awards recipients
Dear Women in Endocrinology community,
We are pleased to announce the recipients of our prestigious Women in Endocrinology awards!
Dr. Laurie Cohen has been selected as the winner of the Women in Endocrinology Mentoring Award.
Dr. Marie-Louis Wronski has been selected as the Janet W. McArthur Award Excellence in Clinical Research Young Investigator Award recipient.
Dr. Yiran Zhou has been selected as the Neena Schwartz Award Excellence in Basic Science Research Young Investigator Award recipient.

Welcome President Faryal Mirza, MD

Dr. Faryal Mirza has been a member of the Endocrine Society since 2002 and WE since 2003. She is Professor of Medicine and Clinical Director of the Division of Endocrinology and metabolism at UConn health. She has been an active participant in WE for many years, and she has served in several leadership positions over the years. These include member and then chair of the program committee, member of the development committee, and, most recently, as a member of the nominating committee for several years. She is now serving as President of WE.
